Our evening will begin with each practitioner providing a 15 minute presentation about the benefits of their therapies for children with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor conditions. There will also be a chance to mingle with the practitioners and ask questions. Please note: The information provided by each practitioner is for informational purposes only. Any opinions, views and therapies are not endorsed by Cerebral Palsy Kids and Families.

Linette Lahey, Cuevas Medic Exercises (CME) Practitioner and Physical Therapist

Linette Lahey is a Physiotherapist and CME practitioner. She assesses and treats children with orthopedic, neurological and developmental conditions and sports injuries. In the fall of 2012, Linette completed training in CME Level 1 and is enjoying using those new skills with her clients.

Renee Gray, ABM NeuroMovement® Practitioner for Children with Special Needs

Renee Gray is a Certified Anat Baniel Method Practitioner specializing in working with Children with Special Needs. The Anat Baniel Method is a science based approach that accesses the power of the brain’s plasticity by providing specific movements and the nine essentials.

Eric Ferron, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner

Practitioner Eric graduated from the New York Feldenkrais Institute after 4 years of studies.  In the course of his training, Eric became convinced that somatic education allows everyone to find easy, congruent, organic ways to considerably improve their body coordination, and life, particularly children who are at the age of “natural learning” and show cerebral palsy symptoms.

Abigail Aldridge, Conductive Education Practitioner

Conductive Education focuses on integrating the child's physical, occupational, cognitive and speech goals. The children receive specialized support to move under the guidance of our specialized therapists called ''conductors”. Conductors ensure that a variety of educational psychology tools are implemented to help the child learn new skills.
